PART 1 - Lunch Break

The game begins with a conversation with your coworkers Sheila and Edna; there's no way to win or lose here. Choosing options, examining or interacting with your surroundings, changing the topic, or simply waiting will all conclude this section one way or another.

Eventually, the waiter will show up. When it's time for you to order, however, things take an unexpected turn. As soon as you're spotted, you have to escape the restaurant:

	> e
	> e
	> e
	> n
	> n
	> e
	> e
	> punch llama
	> n

You escaped... but not for long! Two thugs accost you. Choose options until you reach the fight.

The thugs will choose attacks to launch against you; you can block them by performing appropriate defense actions. If they both attack, you choose one defense option to perform against both of them. Certain defense actions work against certain attack actions; sometimes, a defense action will make a thug injure himself. If the two thugs attack at once, there is often even a way to make them hit each other!

Parrying works against Morgan's jabs, combos, and side kicks, and Clyde's punch and pipe attacks.
Sidestepping works against Morgan's lunge and stomp attacks, Clyde's charge attack, and brick throwing. It also has a chance to work against most direct strikes.
Ducking works against Morgan's jabs and side kicks, brick throwing, and Clyde's horizontal pipe swipe.
Tripping works against lunges, charges, sweep kicks, stomps, and side kicks.
Judo throws work against lunges and charges.
Jumping works against sweep kicks and stomps.

When the thugs withdraw or are knocked out, you need to get some information from them.

	> search small thug
	> open wallet
	> read card
	> out

Now you're at your apartment, to take a short break and do some research.

	> turn on computer

Now you have a lead: Bastion of the Sea's warehouse, by the docks. But first:

	> open closet
	> wear hat
	> wear coat
	> leave

PART 2 - Shadow in the Rain

You're at the warehouse, ready to do some on-site investigation. The only problem is how to get in...

	> x fence

Hmm... if only you could get on something tall.

	> x dumpster
	> get on dumpster
	> climb over fence

	Still too high.

	> e
	> x fence
	> w
	> push dumpster e

If there were some noise to mask the squealing wheels, that might work...

	> z (several times)

There seems to be a pattern to the noise.

Wait until the turn before some noise from the equipment is going to happen (or right before a roll of thunder), then:

	> push dumpster e
	> get on dumpster
	> climb over fence
	> w
	> w

Now you need a way to distract the dock workers.

	> e
	> n
	> x box
	> open panel
	> punch equipment

(Don't try that in real life.)

	> s
	> w
	> nw
	> enter warehouse
	> e
	> take crowbar
	> open crate
	> x guns
	> w

Now you have to get to the trailer to find some more information. Even with the lights out, you can only go to and from the pallets when the dock workers are temporarily blinded by the lightning.

	> (z until a lightning strike occurs)
	> sw
	> (z until a lightning strike occurs)
	> w
	> n
	> x papers
	> take key
	> s
	> unlock gate
	> s
	> s

If Sir Ponyheart arrives while you're in the middle of sneaking around, he unintentionally distracts them enough that you can sneak around much more easily. If you want, you can rescue him by attacking or talking to the llamas. You can also leave the area through the hole his car leaves in the fence.

Now you are dreaming about your time training with the Old Camel. Choose options until you reach the training fight.

	> x rack
	> take dagger
	> stagger camel with dagger

PART 3 - All You Can Beat

Again, choose options until you reach the food fight. Then move into the Buffet:

	> e
	> e

This is a difficult freeform combat segment. Enemy llamas will arrive in waves and you must defeat them all to win the fight. If you saved Sir Ponyheart at the warehouse and arranged a date with him, he will arrive to help, which makes the battle somewhat easier.

You can take and throw food from the bins, eat it, or hit llamas at close range with it. You can also just punch them.

The main mechanic here is pun attacks, which you just learned about in the scene with the Camel. Many (but not all) of the buffet foods can be utilized to perform a pun attack, which will instantly knock out the unfortunate llama. Using them effectively makes the fight much easier!

Pay attention to where everything is. You can >LOOK or >EXAMINE individual llamas to find out more about the physical situation. You can also >GO TO objects or llamas, or move north, east, west, or south. If you try to defeat the llamas using only kung-fu, you'll have to carefully move around to avoid being surrounded, and eat food to restore your health whenever possible.

When you reach the boss fight, choose options until you reach the end.

	You have won!
